I Broked It!!!

While on vacation with Daddy I broke my arm in two places. (For all of you medically inclined people I have buckle fractures of the distal right radius and ulna.) It happened on Sunday. I played with it fine on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, nothing seemed amiss. On Wednesday I was at Granny day care and while wrestling with my Cousin Julianna I injured it again, enough that the adults thought I needed to go to a doctor. I saw my pediatrician on Wednesday afternoon. My MD thought it was just a sprain or a contusion, but thought it best to get an X-ray anyway. Later that afternoon we discovered it was broken, probably in two places. We went to an Orthopedic on Thursday, at which point my arm was put into a cast up to my shoulder. The good news is that the cast can get wet (but it takes a couple hours to dry) and it only has to stay on for 3 weeks. I picked a blue cast! It matches my eyes.
I'm doing really well adapting to it. The first couple of days I kept asking Momma to take it off, but I've adjusted to sleeping with it and using my left arm for most tasks. I'm not very good with eating utensils, but hopefully that will be over as soon as I can get rid of this cast!

Here are some pictures...
I cheesed it up for Momma right after I got my cast on...
and in the parking lot I was trying to attract all the ladies in my cool shades :)

And me and Momma :)
